Coaches make indispensable leaders. They uncover and develop the potential in those around them, build loyal, effective teams, and motivate sustainable high performance.
In this interactive virtual leadership development program, Certified Coach Jackie Simon will teach participants the skill of coaching and how to apply it in their organization.
About the Leadership Development Program
Leaders will learn in a cohort of six and attend 3, 3-hour sessions over the course of two months. They’ll have access to one-on-one coaching with Jackie during the program to dive deep into specific areas of their own leadership development and help solve the day-to-day challenges of management.
Ideal candidates for this team-based leadership development program are professionals looking to hone their people leadership skills. Leaders from all industries and levels are welcome, including supervisors, managers, directors, vice presidents and beyond.
By the end of the program, participants will:
Understand and demonstrate the difference between command and control leadership and coaching
Feel confident coaching direct reports to find solutions to problems
Learn strategies to use coaching as a way to identify and develop emerging leaders around them
Build connections with supportive fellow coach-minded leaders from their cohort

Learn to ask questions that allow an individual to think deeply and answer expansively.
Appreciative Inquiry
Learn to ask positive questions to help an individual unearth their own answers to a challenge.
Giving Feedback
Learn how to deliver feedback in a way that encourages an individual and enlists them in making improvements.
Overcoming Resistance
Learn to help individuals overcome personal blocks to exercise skills and overcome challenges.
Goal Setting
Learn how to get an individual involved in the goal-setting process, so they’re motivated to work toward achieving the goal.
Accountability
Learn how to follow up with individuals in a way that invites dialogue around what stood in their way of completing a committed activity.
